Major Changes in Hawkeye English Second Language Classes!
- Beginning January 17, 2005, ESL classes will run for
8-9 week sessions. Students will only be enrolled in class
at the beginning of each session.
- Individuals who come after the session has begun will
be enrolled in an open language lab to work on their English
skills independently until the next session.
- This change will allow students to progress more quickly,
since teachers will not need to review material for new
students who, at present, can begin classes any day. New
students, who arrive on a daily basis, will have a place
to work until the next session begins.
- New students may begin registering on January 2 by calling
234-5745 or coming to the Metro Center to schedule an
assessment appointment.
