Memorandum of Agreement Regarding the Workforce Investment
Act of 1998 Follow-up Core Performance Measures
The Department of Education and Iowa Workforce Development have a cooperative
agreement to measure program development of plans and policies across Iowa’s
workforce development organizations through:
- Measuring the impact of placement, training, and other services on Iowa’s
families, businesses, communities, and the economy;
- Assessing the effectiveness of training service providers in raising the
skills of the Iowa workforce;
- Determining the impact of services on employability and income earned by
individuals.
